Professional Readers Order Promoting: Help, Ethics, Tact, Integrity & Caring

The concept behind P.R.O.P.H.E.T.I.C. is not intended to be a policy creating body, but rather a network or like minded light-workers. Although it is founded by a reader, it is really intended for all light workers. In this case we define a light worker as any psychic, reader, healer, new age practitioner, massage therapist, herbalist, naturalist and/ or even medical professionals who are of an open minded nature and are interested in the holistic aspects of helping others.

To begin with, this group is several things: Number one, it is a mail list. You can use the link at the bottom of this text to join our P.R.O.P.H.E.T.I.C. newsletter- This will get things started. You may also have an interest in joining out Open Minds newsletter as well near the bottom of the page. We don’t sell our lists, and the MOST we send out notices is once a month unless some unusual situation arrives. The lists are separate and we don’t assume you want one just because you’ve joined the other. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Next, we suggest you visit out Discussion Board and check out the P.R.O.P.H.E.T.I.C. forum where you will find a repeat of this message, along with a directory of members and a place to share and discuss.

This group is for ANYONE who has an interest. It is not JUST for practitioners, but also for our clients and those interested in the holistic side of life. This is NOT the place for debate however. We invite those who are NOT comfortable or interested in these things to refrain from joining.

The people who are listed as “members” are basically those who have reviewed and agree with our principle guidelines. Members are responsible for policing THEMSELVES, we do not police or officiate. If we notice much negative feedback on our discussion board about a given member, we reserve the right to delete listings for that individual, but this is our only course of action.

Members of P.R.O.P.H.E.T.I.C. generally agree with and support the following Principle Guidelines:

We use the term “Facilitators” in the following as being interchangeable with any title one might use, Ie- Psychic, Reader, Healer, Etc. We think of ourselves as Facilitators of change, and affirm the notion that what we do is of some higher light- not for our own ego.

We consider ourselves to be ethical Facilitators and do what we do for motivations of good, love and light ONLY. As ethical Facilitators we believe the following to be true and adhere to these guidelines with our own conscience and the Universe as out witness.

We believe in the ideas of P.R.O.P.H.E.T.I.C. as follows. The Acronym stands for: Professional Readers Order Promoting: Help, Ethics, Tact, Integrity & Caring.

Professional- We act as Professional Facilitators and accept appropriate exchanges of money or energies for our services- within the limits of what is acceptable and standard within our fields. We treat our clients with Professionalism, respect and integrity.

Readers- We use this term as a nod to our founders, Psychic readers around the world- but we include ALL facilitators of change, transformation and enlightenment.

Order- We seek to move toward a sense of community and organization amongst related Facilitators of all disciplines.

Promoting- We try to promote these ideals as they may be amended from time to time and are in no way a body of authority. Membership and adherence to these Principle guidelines is voluntary and self interpreted.

Help- Above all else we seek to do only good with harm to NONE.

Ethics- We seek to act in an ethical way.

Tact- We seek to work in a way that is truthful and tactful- seeking to Taylor our presentations to the audience we are dealing with in such a way that we can share without argument or debate that might injure our stand.

Integrity- We seek to act in integrity for both ourselves AND our clients.

Caring- We seek to approach what we do from a place of caring for the highest good.

We further feel that:

1) An Ethical Facilitator knows their limits- A Facilitators is not God, or necessarily a Doctor, or Lawyer. Any information touched upon that relates to these or other professional fields is an opinion, a feeling or a thought ONLY. We do not give professional advice outside of our training and outside of our rights as human beings to offer opinions.

2) An Ethical Facilitator sees no problem without a solution that can be affected BY THE CLIENT.

3) An Ethical Facilitator will NEVER predict that you have a curse upon your head and then offer to remove it only for some atrocious sum of money.

4) An Ethical Facilitator will never offer a cheap or free session and then predict gloom and doom if you do not take a longer more expensive session with them.

5) An Ethical Facilitator will limit the amount of information they will offer about people OTHER than the client- as it is unfair to pry or spy into those who want privacy.

6) An ethical Facilitator looks at opportunities, obstacles and probabilities- NOT absolutes.

7) An Ethical Facilitator will never boast that they are 100% accurate, perfect or infallible- they will never ask for large sums of money to be donated to them in return for magical or psychic "favors."
